Three young Belgian entrepreneurs were searching for a unique and delightful flavor for their Drunken Horse Gin, which led them to the Himalayas where they discovered distinctive ingredients. They found a small pepper hand-harvested and only available at the old markets of Kathmandu. They were captivated by the pepper's taste and aromas. Besides its spiciness, Timut pepper also carries citrus notes. This was the missing ingredient for their own gin.
